Drop Maker M1

The Drop Maker is an integrated optical, mechanical and electrical device with a proprietary microfluidic chip that can rapidly produce nanolitre (<1nl) water-in-oil droplets from aqueous phase samples.

  • The Drop Maker adopts an integrated design of optics, mechanics and electronics.
  • The water phase containing the sample template can be quickly prepared into 0.5 nanoliter-sized droplets in a proprietary microfluidic droplet-generation chip.
  • The number of droplets is related to the sample volume, and this platform is able to prepare approximately 40,000-100,000 droplets from a 20-50μL sample within only 5 mimutes.
  • The droplet size is uniform and stable throughout the PCR amplification process.
  • ThroughPut: 8-test tube
