Strategic Cooperation between TargetingOne and Institute of Quality and Standards of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences

On October 18th, 2021, the Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (hereinafter referred to as "QSI") and Beijing TargetingOne Technology Co. (hereinafter referred to as "TargetingOne") to build a joint research and development center for agricultural nucleic acid detection technology, taking advantage of their respective professional fields. The center will be dedicated to the development of agricultural nucleic acid detection technologies and products for agricultural product quality and safety, food authenticity identification and traceability, animal and plant diseases, etc., to provide a strong guarantee for improving the quality and safety of agricultural products and food, ensuring food security and promoting high-quality agricultural development.

The Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is engaged in scientific research and technological innovation on agricultural product quality and safety. Research on theories and key technologies of agricultural product quality and safety analysis, quality and safety control technologies of agricultural product breeding process, construction of early warning system and rapid response mechanism of technical barriers to agricultural product trade, research and revision of domestic and international agricultural product quality and safety standards, and technical support of national monitoring of agricultural product and feed quality and safety risk monitoring, supervision and sampling.
